M1 Carbine
 

Anyone seen this type of cut down M1.

Nope and it's a damn shame.

Its for sale as a deact was thinking of buying it as a wall hanger

There is a SIMILAR gun that was sold here as the Enforcer. Actually not a cut down, but a pistol version of the carbine.

whos the manufacturer, if its a gi stay away from it.

I've seen a similar model that Iver Johnson made. Every now and then you'll see them on gunbroker. Is the rifle still workable? Stocks and other parts are not all that hard to find and the 30 carbine is a really fun rifle to shoot.

Edit to add.. I'm guessing it's not being where it is..Shame really..Those are really nice rifles.

Also back in the early days of 'The Nam' lots of M1/M2's were 'Field' Modified foe use by Special Op troops. (Mac-Sog, CIA, SEALs etc..)

This appears to be an original Military mod, I could be wrong as this Old mind is trying to picture the old ads I remember advertising the Enforcers and not having much luck remembering..
