Found an m1 Plainfield machine for sale local. Comes with 575 rounds of ammo and obviously the rifle $600 worth it ??

Not worth quite as much as a USGI M1. They are a commercial made gun, usually around $400-$500 for just the gun in really good condition.

unless its being given to you for free pass on it.

none of the commercial non gi m1 carbine clones are any good. some may shoot and cycle good but its a total crapshoot and the odds arent in your favor at all. gi parts dont fit them so your sol on spares if something breaks.
