Default Looking for some fun shooters

Alright, recently a few of my friends got into guns and my roomy inherited his grandfather's 1903 Springfield.

So, basically, I'm lookin for a few other rifles that are just fun shooters so we have something else to shoot at the range. I'm already thinking a mosin nagant just because it's a cheap platform with readily available ammo.

but what else? I know most of you will probably suggest a .22, but we have a couple already.

SKS?

any suggestions? Pictures appreaciated

All three of the ones your talking about are good, fun, and cheap. Start with either one, and eventually correct all three.

My favorite old rifle to take out is the M1 Garand. For me personally, it's the most fun to shoot out of my limited selection.

The Mosin may be your best bet then, unless you can find a .22 for a comparable price.

A SA revolver, a lever gun and a double barrel couch gun. All fun to shoot. Practice a little and get involved in cowboy shooting. Join a club and shoot while dressed up like John Wesley Hardin. Great if you can get all your buddies involved.

Bolt action .223 is hard to beat. Find a used remington 700 or savage 110 and plink away with cheap ammo.
