What Sniper03 said. I've been shooting mine since 1983 when the CMP was the DCM. Was using my chamber brush back in Feb. and wasn,t paying attention and ended up with THE THUMB. Kinda embarrasing after 28 years and thousands of rounds. Congrats on your purchase and have fun.

Default M1 Garand......

Do you know anyone stationed in South Korea, They have an estimated 1 million in stock. But thanks to Ossammy they won't come to the U.S. Ossammy and the UN won't allow it.........They have been banned... %^&*(()(&$4#356 holes........

I don't know anyone who is currently stationed in Korea. Would be nice if the world had access to those rifles. My Grandfather was in WWII (Pacific) so I really wanted to have that piece history for that period in time.

I have been watching some youtube videos of people loading the M1. Also some videos of people joining the "garand thumb" club. I am sure it will only be a matter of time until I am a member of that club once I have the rifle. I will happily post some pics on here once I do get the rifle. Would be nice to have some experienced opinions on the quality of rifle I get.
