Yeah, Pre-64 Winchester Model 94 30-30, serial number dates out to 1956.
I walked out $320.00 lighter. What do you all think???? 85% or 90%???

Its a beautiful lever action rifle -- one of the original carbines in the history of the West and of Indian fighting.

I cannot think of a better all around carbine than the lever actions.

Sweet gun! I have a post-64 that I hunt with and I love that gun. Wonderful buy at that price for what you're getting, in my opinion.

SFC,

Great find! I would have jumped on it also! That is one fine rifle! Congrats!

Very nice rifle and you got a very good deal from what I've seen around here on New Haven made Winchesters,, the lowest I have come across around this neck of the woods for a pre 64 Model 94 was almost twice the price and nowhere near as good condition,, very nice indeed.

Winchester 1894, 99.9999999999999999999999999999% of the U.S. Government's military campaigns against the indigenous people was concluded before 1894.

The Winchester 1873 is designated as "the gun that won the West".

That is why I always liked High Chaperral, they used Henry rifles as props.

I love the lever action guns. Looks like you got a good deal there! I have to stay out of the local pawn shop, they always have a good deal on a pump shotgun, .22 rifle or lever action gun. The gun fund for the foreseeable future has been spent.
