I run vortex optics on all my rifles because the glass is super clear, features are awesome, wont put a dent in your wallet, and your can't beat their warranty. Here's some pics of my rifle and a few hundred yard groups with handloads
Thanks for your input ccrow175, you have a nice kitchen set up. What kind of DM is on the .308? And how many rounds would it hold?

Thanx,Haha only place with decent lighting at the time. The bottom metal is a wyatts set up. Its a drop in bm that requires no inletting from a gunsmith. They use proprietary magazines that come in either 5 round or 10 round

I'll have to take a gander at the set up, I'm wanting to get a McM A5 but WAY TOO MUCH and wait time for the shop I want to buy it from is 5 months :P, so the manufacture is Wyatt?

Thanx tnarg, yeah the bottom metal is wyatts.I've had it for a little over a year now, and by far its the best upgrade I've made. You can find them at almost any big name manufacturer online, midway, brownells stocks etc.

The over sized bolt handle, who's that made by because you're the second person to have it on their rifle rather than the more expensive welded one.

Its a krg ( kinetics research group) bolt lift kit. Its an amazing upgrade if your not looking to send your rifle off to a gunsmith

Yea well I wish I could but the range closest to my city is an hour north of the city, we only have one indoor range and even that is like $100 to rent a handgun, $130 for AR-15. So I'll try and do that, lol in the summer (it's still -40 with the windchill here)

What type if long range shooting do you want to do? Bench shooting at static targets or hunting? It can make a difference on bullet recommendations.
