I have two Henrys a 22 Mag and the 22lr. The 22lr shoots shorts, longs and long rifles which is great if you want stealth, because you can uses cb shorts and super calibraies

What is the intended use of this levergun?

Regardless of intended use, Marlin.

For now I'm think of it as a just in case gun for the back window of my truck.

try and find a good used older Marlin or Winchester. personally i like the looks of the Winchester, but i think the action is a little stronger on the Marlin. have you given any thought to what caliber? the Marlin probably comes in many more than the Winchester, from pistol calibers all the way up to large bore calibers.

For "just in case" and fun shooting, a Rossi in .357. .38 and .358 ammo cheap enough to become proficient and plenty of power for deer to 100 yards. I've had several pistol caliber Marlins and much prefer the 1892 Rossi action.

I got a marlin 357/38 special.. Paid 470 used but it was mint condition.. Thing shoots great and ammo is pretty good on the wallet.

I just picked a Marlin 336w .30-.30 Win. , I shot it today and I gotta say I'm obsessed
