Winds,
Please give my congratulations to your son. I wish you all the best. I can tell you are a survivor from your past posts. i can also tell you have a good heart. You rock in my book. I learned martial arts, fencing (western and asian) and shooting because people tried to tease me when I was young. I fought back against bullies and promised myself that I will never be the victim. This is also why I am a shooting instructor myself. I want people to be self reliant and not be victims. I hate the bully in all forms. God bless.

For someone my height, 5'6" is just about the perfect height for a man in my book. LOL

I think we all suffer injustices in our lives to teach us compassion and tolerance towards others. You call me a survivor but I can guarantee you I have definitely been called 'an attention getting bitch who likes to play the victim for sympathy and attention' by others. Whatever. Comments like that only hurt when they come from someone who I respect and who's opinion I admire. I just keep punching my way through life. Someday I'm going to get what I want. I just can't seem to find it. A lot of false leads and dead ends. But I haven't given up hope yet and I keep searching...........

And I think you for the kind words. They mean a lot to me and keep me going.

I am 5'6" I prefer short LOP rifles, they shoulder faster and the felt recoil is slightly less for some reason. My Winchester 70 Featherweight is a 13.5" LOP and that is almost perfect, I would probably go 13.2" if I were to build a perfect rifle.
