Hey again folks, I have a question for the Mosiniacs out there. I just purchased another Mosin 91/30 and I noticed that it has a laminated stock. Its a 1938 so my question is When did they start using laminate wood stocks for the Mosin?

The laminated stock was probabably a post WWII refurb replacement. Although I do believe that the Soviets used some lammy stocks shortly before the end of the war, it is not likely that yours is one.
Purdy, ain't it?
