Hey guys, i'm new to this forum (total noob), and forgive me if all my questions have been asked.
I just purchased my first ever k98, its a great shooter, love it to death. But as you can see, it is not the original stock, which is a shame. It is a 'bcd 42' with its nazi eagles still intact, total frankenstein, nothing matches. I was wondering, do you think if i purchased this stock from RGUNS RGUNS - Gun Parts - Rifle Parts - Bolt Action Rifle Parts (scroll down till you see the k98k part) do you think the parts on my rifle will fit on to new stock? any help would be appreciated guys, i would like to restore my rifle back to its era. I have attached the pictures, please let me know if it would be a good purchase for my gun! Thank you for looking at my post!

Your stock is an early or pre 1942. It may not be completely correct, but not bad.

I think it looks great as is.
It's a shooter, not a museum piece.
Enjoy it and invest in some ammo instead of a new stock.
