Kar98 Help!

Help. I was not thinking about it when I took my Kar98 bolt out of the rifle. And I left the Safety in the firing position, then I proceded to rotate the Safety mechanism to the left (because I was going to take the bolt apart). But it only rotated to the left and stopped. So now I think it is in the un-cocked position (As in if it was in the bolt slot in the rifle, and un-cocked). So now I cant put the bolt back in the rifle correctly. I dont know how to move the safety mechanism back in its correct position.

Hold the striker lug against the edge of your bench and push down to hold it in rearward position.. While it's down rotate the striker inside the bolt body so that it's in the cocked position. Return it into the rifle.

Thanks. And when you say the striker. You mean the Seperate machanism? That has the safety on it? And just simply rotate it?

Here's a pretty simple video explanation I found on YouTube
