I got mine used from a family friend. The first time I took it to the range, it was dead on at 25 yards with the first clip I put through it. I didn't even need to mess with the scope at all. The 597 has a reputation for loading and feeding problems. I'm telling you right now, its the clip, not the gun. A stagger stack 22 LR clip will have occasional feeding problems. The 597 clip holds ten but I stop when the spring starts tensing up, usually 6-8 rounds Max. The squirrel apocalypse is a-commin!
