The problem is he is asking for something that isnt just specific to one rifle . When I think CQB rifle I think 7.5"-12" barreled AR15 in 5.56 @ 100 Yards or less . When I think 600M hunting rifle I think 30 cal and .300 win mag , because most anything you hit with it will be DRT @ 600+ meters .
He stated real combat situation and effective on the field , I again think of a rifle that will penetrate any available body armor out there at 600 m and bam there is the .300 win mag .
Why because ammo is every where , even when ammo was scarce around here I still found lots of .300 win mag and .270 on the shelves . Its not overly priced like the 6.5 creedmoor, .50 bmg or the .338 Lapua . of the effective range calibers . Would I use it for CQB , probably not but it would be more than effective , Thats where a nice 8.5" 7.62X39 fits well. He is asking for something that truly doesnt exist in one particular rifle
. I guess thats why I have so many different rifles . I dont have one that is a all in one , gets the job done kind of rifle .
