The ones I have used added roughly twenty lbs when you put them all in there.

Can't forget to duct tape the extra ones to your sides.

ok just did a bit of research and talked to a buddy. I definitely overestimated the weight. It's about ten lbs of extra weight when all the plates are used.

My bad. :embarrassed:

They feel much heavier though...

How about a pump action granade launcher. Thats what I would have. That'll reach out and touch somebody or two. And I can load all those bb's and make one heck of a shot gun

still, ten pounds is still a bit of weight to lug around. but still better than being drilled by a bullet.

The weights for the individual plates are next to each of the level III plates I listed.

For the IIIA and smaller the soft plates dont weigh much of anything I'm not sure about the old school metal plates. They were pretty heavy. I have one in the jeep, I'll have to weigh it and see.

What did somebody forget to engage their safety and shoot the dogs front teeth out? Or are we blaming that on the Glock shooters?
