That is a great deal on a pretty good stick. Good looking rifle you got there brother. The scope alone would probably run $700.
Where's my Range Report?

Tell you what. Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you $1,001 for it, and pay for shipping too.
Nice rifle man. I'm expecting a range report for it once you take it to the range.

i paid 400 for my rem 700 in .30-06 at a pawn shop, but the scope that came with it wasn't near that nice (took it off and i'm having iron sights installed now and will use them as a backup and have a nicer scope mounted when i'm done with it) and the stock was a more mass produced factory one. also, mine had no ammo with it and i bought my bi-pod and case separately.
with the nicer stock and nicer scope and goodies and ammo too i'd agree that you did ok on that one.
i would say that barrel and bolt handle look a little dry from the pic, but that's no biggie. a little oil rubbed in would fix that. i may be wrong however, it could just be how the pic looks.
but nice gun man.

That sounds like a pretty decent deal to me.

thanks guys.
ill be working on a range report this weekend
it is all dried out and dusty....uncle probably hasnt shot it in 10 years
my uncle claimed that after the first cold bore shot it was capable of 1/4 moa but we will see it has a bit of a heavy trigger.
depending on what happens with my savage (on its way back to the factory) i may just swap out scopes since i like magnification, and IMO the bushnell elite i have on my savage is alot clearer and brighter.

Hey Narc, if that Leupold is that old, box it up and ship it back to Leupold. They will take it apart, clean up the inside, reseal with new gas, all for free. They have a true lifetime warranty. You'll get almost a brand new scope out of the deal. Leupold rocks that way....
