Default I May Have Royally Screwed Up!

I have a Remington 721 in 30-06 which wasn't extracting the shells properly so I did what one would naturally do. I pulled the faulty one out and went to the Internet and.....THEY HAVEN'T MADE THE EXTRACTOR IN 20 YEARS!!! Please tell me someone knows where I can find a factory extractor for the 721. I do not wa t to install a Sakp extractor in this rifle as it is a family hand-down and I want to keep it all original

Try numrich, brownells, gunbroker, gunauction, gunsamerica, or even ebay.

Not sure if what I'm looking at is the right part, but numrich may be sold out. See for yourself though.

That would be the right part. But the question is...how long is it sold out.

From what I've been reading about this problem,it sounds like your best bet would be getting a Sako style extractor installed on your bolt.
I understand wanting to keep it factory stock, but why replace an inferior part with another inferior part when it can be upgraded and fixed permanently.

Brownells sells the Sako kit-
