Love lever guns. Unfortunately, don't own any. I'm into classic styling in all things. I'd like a Marlin in 444 or 45-70. I like making big holes.

Lever action rifles are classics. I have a Win 30-30 and a Henry .22.

Do u think 30-30s are worth it? I'm debating on a Marlin 336 or a browning BLR in 308...big price difference but can't make up my mind...what makes you like it?

@TooStrongTerry
Yes, they're worth it depending on what you want to hunt. It will take damn near any game in north America, most people like to keep their shots to around 200 yards or less (many don't like to go past 100) its a reasonably heavy brush buster, great for heavy undergrowth.

@TooStrongTerry
Get the 308, run 165 grain SST Hornady Superperformance. Near, far and anywhere in between.
