Just picked up a marlin 336 30-30, I don't need a long range rifle here in western pa and I got tired of lugging the browning a5 around

Just another question to add, would a .270 be too much for coyote hunting? Trying to get the best bang for my Buck and have a rifle good for multiple prey

i believe so. i believe in was about 2007? that remington bought Marlin out.

Sounds about right, the barrel has the jm marks which I believe are a marlin proof
