$149 with accessories is typical. I wouldn't pay much more than that unless it was a fully dressed sniper model. Some can be a bit more expensive based on year and chamber style etc.
I don't need No stinking signature.

You probably won't find an unissued one. Even most of the nice ones are arsenal refurbished, where the arsenals did repair work, and refinishing before packing them up for long term storage. Under $200.

What he said up there ^^^. Price on the Finn rifles is higher than the Russians, but that is still very high.
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.

IMHO, you need to look beyond price. If you get a rifle

you value, and don't have to go looking for another one,

you only buy it once.

Seek matching serial #s, a clean bore, and good overall condition.

Prices are rising somewhat, as word gets out, and the supply dwindles.

I got lucky with my first Mosin- a near mint Polish M44- it set the tone

for my future acquisitions. But later, when I got a clean 1925 Hex with

all matching serials, it was because I knew what to look for.

Perhaps "The Mosin-Nagant Rifle" by Terence W. Lapin can help you

"dig through the pile" and find that Dragoon which will always be a

pride of your collection.

That said, the "89.95 complete" Mosin, after shipping and FFL fees,

in all actuality, was really closer to 160$. And that was a couple years ago.

To anyone who claims they can get a 90$ Mosin, or a 50$ crate jeep,

I simply say : "Then stop talking, and go do it."

I can tell you dealer price has gone 40-50 dollars in the last year so consumer price has gone up. The ones from J&G look used at 165?

I am amazed at what these cost now. Still cheap. I'm not sure where you are located on the planet, Those prices are way high. BTW, I think you are the only person I've ever heard that wants Cosmoline!
