You know those gray 36"x18" industrial shelves about 6 feet high? 1 1/2 of them full of Rubbermaid action packers. And a plastic truck box full of shot shells. But I'm hoping to do better....

The only time you can have too much ammo is when you're trying to swim.

I shoot to much to have a good amount. My goal is around 1000 for the 3 guns I mostly shoot but I havent came close yet. I try to keep at least 500.

Usually just about 100 .270 and a 300-400 12 ga. Not much of a prepper.

I have a SHTF stack, and a shooting stack. Sometime they intermingle, but still try to keep them segregated.

If the November election turns out wrong I probably don't have near enough. There could be a real shortage again.

IMHO, 1000 rounds for each gun you own.

In addition, a minimum of 2500 rounds for your SHTF guns. I keep a large stock of 9MM, 5.56X45 and 7.62X51.

An unopened case of 5000 .22LR is a good idea. It's always a good trade item as well as a practical item.
