Hey guys, I have an old m43 Spanish Mauser chambered in 8mm Mauser

So far I have bent the bolt handle down, added a 3x9 Leupold scope

But what are ways to improve accuracy on this rifle?

Bedding the action? What kind of bedding?

Can I free float the barrel?

Anything with the trigger?

And anything else I should know?

Not sure on what bedding method that rifle will like. Some rifles like to be free floated and some like some contact a few inches down the shank with the rest floated.

Another trigger you might also look at is the Timney trigger

I'd call them to see if their trigger offering will fit your exact model rifle even though I think it will. I put a Timney trigger in a 03A3 awhile back and it made a world of difference. CA357 here on this forum put a Huber trigger on his M1917 and with a little fiddling around with it he got it to work really good too. Both brands of these triggers have considerably less travel and creep and brake very clean compaired to the stock triggers.
