I have been considering a Ruger .40 S&W Carbine. Of course, seeing as they don't make them any longer, it is a LE turn-in. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge of them? How is their durability and accuracy?
I had the 9mm version a few years back. As I remember it was a good shooter and I never had any problems with it (a few thousand rounds through it). Mine was zeroed at 30 yards and did a good job in the accuracy department. I didn't like using the Ruger rings to mount my Aimpoint though, to $high$. I let mine go and replaced it with an AR style 9mm rifle. Looks better and a whole lot easier to mount goodies on the rifle.
There is in life perhaps one fleeting moment when the courage, dedication and resolve of one man gambling against all odds will alter the destiny of nations.
