Default High speed rifle pictures

In addition to previous high speed pictures I'd like to present you rifle extension. In other words here is part 1: Sequence shot of .308 Sako Forester with 147grs S&B FMJ.

Pictures are from separate shots and delay has been adjusted to illustrate bullet movement and gas formation.



It's too big to fit nicely in forum and you can find high resolution version here.

That was sweet. Could you get a bullet burnin threw a steel or aluminum plate or some tanerite right before it goes boom?

I could but I'm lacking fragment shield and actually damaged my camera taking those .308 pictures.

I've done some small caliber "tests" with soft lead bullets though:







Pictures were taken form back and target was in angle to minimize bullet fragmentation and guide it forward.

Some AR-15 stuff incoming
