IME, if somebody has a problem with a Hi-Point, the immediate response

is "The gun sucks!".

IF they have the same problem with a Kimber, Wesson, Colt, or any other

gun costing 3 to 7 times as much, they immediately blame themselves.

"Is my stance bad? Am I holding it wrong? Is it the cheap ammo?,etc."

Yanno, folks, it won't kill you to clean and lubricate the entire gun

occasionally. More things get dirty than the barrel...


I, for one, find it refreshingly amusing that the bolt on the carbines

is actually a bolt. These guns do a lot to get back to basics,

including offering a great value for the buck.

I don't care for their pistols either however their carbines leave nothing to bitch about (as long as they're not used as a club)! My 1st one was a 40cal then I added the .45 and last month picked up the 9mm to complete the set. I have fired at least 300 rounds through the 9 and a 1,000 or so through the other two without a single failure (except for the time a few of my 40cal ammo got mixed up with the 9mm ammo...oops). I also own a Marlin Camp 45 and the H-P 45 out-shoots it at 100yds no matter who is behind it...and the H-P's are always popular at the range whenever they're pulled out..."Hey, is that an H-P? Can I try it?"

And ya can't beat their warranty!

I bought the .45 muzzle break and it works as intended and looks great on the rifle...it does add about 3 1/2" to the length tho...
