Default Help please!

Rescently purshased a CETME rifle ( used), took it to the range for the second time today with a new magazines because on the first day i had some trouble and the gunsmith at the range told me it was most probably due to a bad magazine. Turns out the gusmith was right, just one problem.... Im at home, and one idea comes to my mind. At the range i tested the magazine just with 5 and 10 rounds each time. Let me see how it works with all 20 rounds. So i load the magazine, go to my back yard and load one round in the chamber. Perfect, just one problem: now i cannot take it out. Seems that after you load one in the chamber the only way to get it out is by shooting it? Anyone with experience with this rifle who can help me out ?

What's it doing exactly when you try to eject the round

I know of no military rifle that can only be unloaded by firing ( except muzzleloaders). Place on safe, remove mag, pull cocking handle to rear to eject chambered cartridge.

If you do not have owner's manual, here is a short one.

If your rifle is a .762 NATO, do not shoot .308 Winchester in it.

Did you hand load the round into the chamber, then insert a full magazine? If you did, there's your problem. Take two rounds out of your magazine and cycle the weapon.

FYI this is one reason why most guys in the field load up their mags a cartridge or two short, some firearms will not cycle with one in the chamber and a full magazine.

I loaded the magazine, then inserted the magazine in, then loaded the round the way it's supposed to be done. Then Pulled out the magazine, tried to unload by pulling the handle but it is loked!

Thanks for the manual, but it seems like for some reasson the lever is locked, it will not pull back with the round in the chamber!

I cannot cock back the slide on my Phoenix HP22 if there is no magazine and if the pistol is on safe.
Your gun may have the safe safety features.
