I got 675 bucks saved for a new bolt action toy what do I buy?

More specifically I'm lookin to move up to a better deer rifle 30-06 (best deer/ big game cartridge) is is a must obviously.

Howa 1500, rem 700, Winchester model 70, savage, marlin of sorts.... All good proven guns.

I'm picky on the actions they gotta be smooth and strong. I like 700s ok not hugely impressed though. Haven't handled win m70s much I'll look into that more. Howa yuk puke worthy 90 degree bolt lift. Marlin x7 wobbly bolt and if I remember right a little heavy. Thanks for the response sorry I'm so picky. keep them coming people.

Oh yeah not a savage guy either I've heard too many bad failure stories in the field for what ever reason the crowd I hang with has had bad luck and it's all about confidence out there.

Think your s**t outta luck then in that price then. Browning a bolt is nice but Around $800...

Cz550 would be a top contender for me. Mauser type action spectacular triggers if you opt for their set trigger.

In that price range your scraping bottom barrel there for what it seems you want.
