Although the .50BMG is a badass rifle and hell of a conversation piece, and sure does turns heads... Its not very practical, if you want a rifle that you are gonna shoot often and maybe even hunt with i would go with the AR10. A Saiga 12g would be a good buy to.. I want one of those myself

Saiga 12. Those things are beautiful and deadly. Or a. 50 Bmg Cal rifle. The Barrett m107a1 shoots great if you do. But the saiga is just brutal. In the good way .

The 50 and the 12ga or not a pactical buy and have Limited use. The ar-10 would make a good hunter but rather heavy to hump around. Remember with the few ultra lite 44mags you want to stay away from the heavy faster loads. Bullets can back out under recoil. Buy a regular 4" model and all will be well. Or spend less money than you would spend on the ar-10 and find real nice dan wesson pistol pack in 44 mag and have short or long barrels for different use beside you much energy and fps can be lost with a snubby 44 mag.
