Default help!!!!

I removed the bolt from an M98 mauser. While it was out the safety was accidentally pushed to the left and now I can't get the safety back to the middle or get the bolt back in the action!

If you go through these safety steps for disassembly of the bolt you should be able to get your problem fixed. I know I ran into the same problem when I first got my Mauser.

I fixed it already. I used an old mosin bayonet to cock the sear then flipped the safety

That's great that you got it taken care of. Just thought I'd lend my two cents in. Now the next this happens you'll be able to assist
