One that meets your states caliber laws and goes bang and puts rounds inside a 2" circle at 100 yards.

What and where are you hunting? What range of shots do you typically have, 50 yards or 300 yards? We need details!

Wellllll i use a 458 socom and a 458 winmag for my hunting needs deer and pig and up. For rabbits either a longbow a 45acp(headshots) or a 22lr pistol. Yotes its a ar15 in 5.56.

If you are going to Africa a .460 Weatherby Magnum is hard to beat!

Since it i such a short range a 25-06 and up should do the job just fine. I would personally use the .270, .308 or the .30-06.
