Have a scope question
Need some inclined scope rings for a 1 inch tube to fit a marlin 17 hmr. Need to be 20 moa incline. Any ideas on where without breaking the bank. Or any mod ideas to a regular set of rings to get the incline i need? Thanks for any help. Just hard to see a hundred bucks for rings.

Hard to fine good rings cheap . No idea why you think you need inclined scope rings but ok . Maybe you need to look at the bases you have now ?

I had a problem with sighting a scope and got a set of Millet scope rings. Problem solved...
The scope was mounted on a 4595TS with fixed rings, after adjusting the scope as far right as it would go I was still shooting left of center. The Millet scope rings allowed for lateral adjustment, which put the scope on a slight angle. I was able to dial center from then on out. |
Surprised no one recommended these Burris Signature Zees already. You'll need the rings and the inserts. They hold the scope tight and don't leave any marks. The inserts have different offsets you can use and you rotate them however you need to do elevation or windage adjustments.

I've got one on my 308 under a set of the Burris Sig Zee 30mm rings. |
Thanks for the input. Been playing with idea of shooting past three hundred with the 17 just for the fun of it in perfect coditions. Have 70 clicks on scope but if i zero at a hundred thats about 35 wasted. 20 moa will make a lot of difference past 300. Thanks for all the help
