The ammo that C3 and hiwall talked about is good stuff. Have used them in the past and will use in the future. I will through another at you, Federal American Eagle 240 grain HP. Busted more hogs then deer with it but, shoots good out of a Ruger Carbine and a
8 3/8 S&W model 29.
Now we did do this years ago. Not sure if the handi-rifle can handle this or not,,,,,ya can check this out.
H&R made a Topper series single shot rifle, think the model was a 58. It was a full length bull barrel in 44 mag. It also had the look of a muzzle loader in that it had a wooden ramrod under the barrel and into the forearm. Any how we reimed it out to 444 Marlin.
That was one fun shooting hog gun. Anybody that saw it just had to shoot or hunt with it. Man o man wish I still had that rifle.
Just for the fun of it, I also had along on hunt, the reloading supplies with the box kit made by LEE to hand press some ammo.
