H&K MR762 and military designated ammo

Hello everybody. In the future I am going to purchase the H&K MR762. It is chambered for the 7.62x51mm round.

My problem is - Where do I find Lake City 7.62x51mm ammo that is NOT the M118LR? I am specifically looking for the M59 ammo to "burn" through.

I live on my own land so I can shoot when ever I want. I will be firing at least 300 rounds every time I pick this rifle up. I simply enjoy the bigger "punch" of the round, over the 5.56x45.

I cannot buy the more common .308 Winchester ammo, as the .308 is dangerous to use in a 7.62x51mm chambered rifle, so I often hear.

Thank you for your time in reading this post and responding!

Why don't you just buy German made ammo. There is DAG and MEM out there.
German .308 FMJ NATO (7.62x51) 200rd Battle Pack
Even Brit will work fine.
308 British, 7.62 NATO stamped, 160rds in ammo can.
