Default guns

okay so im going to retire my grandfathers ithaca model 37 deerslayer because its served me well and i need an opinion on something because i love rifles and i dont know whether to buy a remington r-15 or something like a remington model 700 vtr the rifle would be use for target shooting and best of all hunting :-) i just need some input to help make my decision because im leaning towards the 700 just because its cheaper and then i could still afford a scope and bipod sling extra mags and the most important accessory ammo haha

Winchester 70 Classic or Kimber 84M would be my top picks.

I would recommend taking a look at Weatherby Vanguard models given the current boltgun climate. Sub MOA accuracy, with a guarantee from the factory, a Howa CNC machined action and a good warranty.

Just a thought...
