Default Gun Camo

What do most of you guys use for gun camo? I can't bring myself to paint my rifle quite yet, so I wanted to see what else people use.

painting is one option for a camo finish on a rifle. soem people even have the finish done by dipping. personally i use the paint method, but only do the stocks, never the metal. some paint everything, but i like the option of being able to go back to stock if i so decide to.

Camo tape. Be sure to get the good stuff, it will say removable and leaves no residue.

Just make a ghillie sock for the rifle and no need to paint it. You can just take it off when you are finished.

Good idea!

Also, removable paint was real popular around here a few years ago, especially for turkey guns. It would wipe off with alcohol. It didn't stay on for more than a couple of years but it was easy to touch up. I can't remember what kind of paint it was, but anyone interested should be able to check with a local gun shop for hunters and find out.

I've been thinking about the tape, but... the gillie sock idea is pretty good. What do you make it from? Thanks for all the ideas. I've been starting to coyote hunt more and thought I should give it a try (although I'm still not sure if it makes a difference or not, but fun anyway).

This might help you some on the ghillie camouflage for a rifle.
