It's a Benelli R1 chambered in .300 win mag I put a Millett TRS 4x16x50 Illuminated Mil Dot reticle which will make it nice for the early evening down in the river bottom.

So how do you like this rifle ? How is the recoil ? What kind of groups are you getting ? I want that same rifle. Benelli claims half the felt recoil and in 300 WM that could be an awesome rifle. Have you tried to empty the magazine as fast as you can pull the trigger ?

It's all about the reduced recoil shes sweet its like a long nudge rather then a quick kick, its hard to describe but you'll love it very manageable recoil I do have a picture of a 4 shot group (3 in the mag plus 1 in the chamber) that I fired in just under 15 sec at 100yrds but I don't have my camera right now I'll get it later I don't recommend rapid fire with .300wm with the light weight barrel... it gets real hot after just 1 shot, so I probably won't do that to often... but it can... so I'm sayin look out hogs here I come, still looks like I'm going Hogs huntin in Texas this xmas.
