Own a 1903 and a few 1903A03s, some still military, others sporterized. They shoot well.

That is one fine 1903A-3! For god sake man keep it original. They are becoming prizes to be sought after in their original state and are also worth some good money now days. I have one that I got from a good friend who has also passed away many years ago and the finish is still on the bolt face. Yes! I do shot it about 5-10 rounds per year just for nostalgia reasons clean it and put her back in the safe. You have a nice piece there my friend! Take care of her!
