If you can't drop a deer with a .308 or 30-06, (essentially ballistic twins), maybe you shouldn't be hunting deer.
I didn't say it wouldn't work I said it so fast that the deer wouldn't feel be fore it so far away, you have hard tim tracking it

I'll assume you have no idea what hydrostatic effect/energy has on game.
Good luck with your 30-30, that round has more kills on game animals than any other. Except the .22 lr.
Not here too argue

Hydrostatic effect is what makes it possible to drop a deer at 50 yards with this baby

I'm pretty sure my .308 dropped both my deer in their tracks and they never knew what hit them. There was no tracking for either of my deer I shot with that caliber. One from 110 yards and the other at 325. Both just fell over DRT

When it down too is knock down power by tkf. The 30/30 has a level of 13 and a 12 ga slug has 50 and the speed times grams times dimater

The 300 H&H is also meant for long range shooting or African game. We're talking about white tail so yes, a 300 h&h is a little overkill on the meat if that's what you're trying to say..
