there is a rem 700 blued barrel black synthetic stock. chamberred in 243.. used. marked at 470.. is this a good deal? it looks in pretty good shape. nothing was sticking out at least. i have been thinking abotu this caliber and also this rifle but was undecided .

But my finest hour comes
when I am torn into strips and used as bandages
for my wounded comrades on the battlefield,
When I fly at half-mast to honor my soldiers,
Or when I lie in the trembling arms
of a grieving mother
at the graveside of her fallen son.

Not really if it is an ADL synthetic . Prices vary by location but it should be at least $70 lower. A used BDL would bring that price. I have a used 223 ADL synthetic on consignment for $375 and I have seen other ADL synthetics for sale at $375 to $400.

it would be a good deal if it had a $300 scope on it.

one of my local wal-marts has them new for $400ish with a scope. i'd say keep looking & see if what other stores are asking for them
All I've had today is like 6 gummi bears & some scotch
