What is a good solid bolt action that is very fun to shoot can kill medium game and is not .22

I really like my winchester model 70, no other bolt gun I've held has as smooth an action, but a remington 700, savage model 11, or Howa 1500 are all good guns

Im a convert to the mosin nagant 91/30. 80-120$ super cheap plinking ammo with hunting loads available.

I was thinking of a browning .243 but I can't find one in my price range 300-400$
