Default golden rod

Ok so I picked up a golden rod to put in my gun safe, but how do you install it? I dont have any holes in the safe that I can see where I can put the cord through so I can plug it in. Any help would be nice.

Can you drill a hole in the back wall of the safe?

You should have one in the bottom of the floor, or the back near the bottom.

I could drill a hole if I had too, not wanting to though. I will take the felt bottom out and see if I see anything. Thanks.

If you have a fire lined safe, you cannot use the golden rod. The hole for the cord wuill compromise the fire resistance. Try Damp Rid instead or maybe Bullfrog.

Weird, my safe has an electrical plug on the back lower corner. It claims to be 1 hour fireproof at some temperature or other.
