i think it's the standart bolt..
so will the mauser stock from ATI will fit directly on it ?
That would be fantastic

thanks everyone !

You'll have to take it to a gunsmith and have him drill and tap for scope mounts, and probably have to change out the safety lever.

I have a sporterized 95 Mauser (small ring) in .308 that my boss/gunsmith gave to me.
That's what we had to do with mine, should be a similar process with yours.

I don't know enough about the ATI stock to say, hopefully someone else will come along.

BTW, Welcome to the forum!

I have seen and I can't remember where but there is a mount that ataches to where the rear sight goes. Screw off the rear sight screws and atach the one piece base mount.
Try googleing it.
F.K.
P.S. try Brownells.

Brownells has it it is a B-square mount that uses the rear sight base. You will need a longe eye relief scout scope or handgun scope. It is $30.00 part # for M98 is 122-185-610AC
Brownells # 800-741-0015

The Mauser stock has an integral Weaver rail for scope mounting. You still have to convert the bolt to bent configuration unless you mount an EER scope scout style.

AFAIAC, these stocks are butt ugly.

A rail mounted to the stock is not the best idea I've ever seen.
