discovered after more looking today that those particular gibbs rifles are rebarreled parade and scrap recievers.
i think im better off finding a real cheap 03a3 and doing the drill tap and rebarrel thing.
i did finally find another weaver k2.5 with post reticle i think im gonna see if the next gun show has a beater 03a3 or 03 i can convert to a sniper style rifle. ive already got a spare barrel still in cosmoline and gages under 1. __________________

That is one helluva good shooter. I really liked it when they gve him a replcia of his duty rifle, way cool.
