my grandpa's old browning semi auto shotgun. it's still kicking today. i cant remember the model, but he paid $50 for it back in the 50's.

The first gun I ever Shot?
Honestly, I got a Daisy Red Rider BB Gun for Christmas when I was 6. Became a big game hunter in the back yard, down the alley and my uncles farm. Black Birds, Starlings and the like. Then at 7 or 8 My Grand Daddy let me shoot an H&R Single Barrel 20 Ga. Shotgun at a Corn Cob on a fence post. From there, my addiction began!!!! I recall how the shotgun had considerable recoil (Kick) as they referred to it! But a year later didn't even feel the recoil when shooting my first rabbit!!
Grand Dad always told me: Show me a boy (girl) that is in to shooting, hunting and fishing and I will show you someone that is less likely to get into trouble in their life!

.22 cal Crossman Pellet Pistol. Traded a Western hunting knife for it when I was around 10 yrs old.

I learned to hunt for real with my dad's old 12 gauge. My Grandpa bought it used for him around 1925.



Its an F. Dumoulin & Co, marked/ Fine Damascus Belgium & on the other side its marked/ The Interchangeable.

This old girl has been broken & repaired many times. Shes retired now like me! I sure wish she could talk, would love to hear the all the old stories.

First centerfire was my Grandads Rem model 721 ,30-06

First rimfire hand gun My brothers HighStandard Sport King .22Pistol (Toggle barrel release)

My first centerfire was a school classmates Ruger Black hawk .44mag

My first shotgun was a my own 12ga Stevens SB-100 long tom

My first Milsurp was my own Carcano Moschetto 6.5 Carbine (folding bayonet gone) the fixed sight was spot on

For me it was the Model 94 30-30. There was just something special about that rifle. That was the first rifle I bought and I still have it many decades later.

First was a .22. My dad used to take me to the local landfill to shoot rats. He could hit a rat on a dead run.
