Congratulations.

I'm a member of a qualifying gun club and was wonder what it costs to order one of these through the CMP?

Also, are there different grade/price points to choose from?

Mine was a "correct grade" so I paid 1,100.00 for it. If you go to Rifle Sales there will be more information on all of the "grades" that they offer.

I didn't think it would be on that thick either, although this was the first time I have had to deal with it. Luckily someone mentioned the boiling water idea. That saved me hours of cleaning.

It looks like it was manufactured in late 1942: M1 Garand Dates of Manufacture (Born on Date)
