Default FAL scopeworthy?

Is an FAL a good platform for a scope or is some other type of optic or iron sights best?

maybe a red dot or acog if you can find a rail system for it. they arent what i would i would consider a good or even decent platform for high end optics with precision shooting in mind.

If you can get your hands on one I would get a Trilux scope(Google it). I would go with it of your looking to keep the rifle original and want an acog style scope

Leupold has some pretty cool optics, I don't know what your price range is but it's worth a look at
