Its not bad, most have import marks of some kind. Get some ammo and shoot the crap out of her, my No.4 Mk.1 is my favorite rifle to shoot, that I own anyway.

Is that good? I honestly know nothing more that it's a ww1 era British battle rifle caliber .303 and that a new stock and rear sight are gonna cost me about $150
I slapped a spare scope I had lying around on it for now. I think rear sights are $35 through numrich but I should be getting discounted prices through them soon. Just need the bolt disassembly tool right now. I made one out of a bolt but it stripped right out.

Walked into the club on Sunday and the ffl comes over to me and asks If I'd be interested in a deal.

So he pulls out this enfield. Stock looks like it was in WWI. Rear sight is gone and he says he can't find a scope that will fit the mount. I do a quick function test and throw a light down the spotless bore.
OK you have my interest. What's the deal?

I usually don't either. I'm just the only guy at the club that works on guns. He couldn't sell it to anyone else. It needs a bit of work and I definitely need to check the headspace on it.

My daddy gave me his when I was 16. He had just gotten a .270. He often says that was when I started killing deer and he quit. By killing he meant slaying. That No.4 will flat out put deer on the ground. And keep the scope on it if you plan on hunting with it. That gun will drop deer in their tracks at 300 yards, but that's tough to do without a scope.
