I slapped a spare scope I had lying around on it for now. I think rear sights are $35 through numrich but I should be getting discounted prices through them soon. Just need the bolt disassembly tool right now. I made one out of a bolt but it stripped right out.

I have an enfield that I can't sell as it is. Any interest?
I Love projects.
So he pulls out this enfield. Stock looks like it was in WWI. Rear sight is gone and he says he can't find a scope that will fit the mount. I do a quick function test and throw a light down the spotless bore.
OK you have my interest. What's the deal?
I payed $250 plus tax and won't sell it to anyone else. Give me $100 and it is yours.
I'll take it right now.
I'm closing up you can't have it today.
OK well I'm going to Maine next week so I'll buy it in 2 weeks then.
Pay for it before Christmas and it's yours. I can't/won't sell it to anyone else.

So I was gonna wait till I got it to say anything but I'm too excited.
A rear sight will cost me about $30 delivered. I might reblue it and refinish the stock. Good deal eh?
You dawg you- I never get deals handed to me

I usually don't either. I'm just the only guy at the club that works on guns. He couldn't sell it to anyone else. It needs a bit of work and I definitely need to check the headspace on it.

Nice gun!!!! I love those Enfields.

My daddy gave me his when I was 16. He had just gotten a .270. He often says that was when I started killing deer and he quit. By killing he meant slaying. That No.4 will flat out put deer on the ground. And keep the scope on it if you plan on hunting with it. That gun will drop deer in their tracks at 300 yards, but that's tough to do without a scope.

Well screw paying $12 for a bolt disassembly tool. Can't believe I had to harden this thing though.
