does anyone own this scope and if they can give me any info as to quality and eperience with it?

I don't have that exact model but I do have a Simmons and for the price it is good but it's not a Leupold.

I think will work fine for what I need. Its going on a .17HMR

it should be plenty fine for a 17HMR rifle. Simmons makes decent scopes and as long as you know it's a Simmons and not expecting a Ziess, you'll do fine.
