Default Does anyone have a Mauser M12????

I'm planning to buy a Mauser M12(The extreme model) but I want to get some more info before the purchase. It seems a great rifle, one of the best ever made-AND ITS A MAUSER!!!!!!
So...anyone who has shot it or owns it, please, leave some comments.

Thank in advance for the response,

Regards

Looks like a model 98 with a new gas shield and a Winchester model 70 safety. Nothing super radical. Should be a solid rifle, just like any other Mauser. Don't know if the prices are justified. Maybe I'm missing something.

Really? Take a look at the video showing the features. It has nothing in common with a 98 Mauser other than the action diameter.

Nope. You're right. When I first read the post and did a google search I couldn't view any video of the rifle, and the written material was not as detailed about the features. It's more like a Sako with the 60 degree lift. But with dual ejectors. I do like the idea of the no tool bolt disassembly as well.

Thanks for making me take a second look when my connectivity was better.

Mauser makes a solid rifle. I would expect it to be good. If the features strike you as worth it then I guess the price could be justified.

could just get a winchester 70 classic... the m12 is a pretty good copy of that one.

Winchester 70 is a great rifle, but I would rather a brand new Mauser M12

I wouldn't trade a Mauser model 12 for two Winchester model 70s.

Right now I'm wavering between a Mauser model 12 and a Sako.

Nothing wrong with Remchesters - but there are better guns on the market, never fool yourself about that.

So...as far as I can understand, in your opinion the 70 is better than a M12?

I mentioned that I would not trade a M12 for two model 70's.

Seems clear enough to me.
