do they make heavy barrel for Howa 1500

I own a Howa 1500 bolt action. I am looking for a heavy barr:cool:el.

If you order a barrel from a barrel manufacture then you can get it just about any weight you want.

You will need a gunsmith to mount it and all together it will set you back aprox $500 to $700 to get this done.

Howa now makes varmint contour barreled versions of your rifle. You can have your rifle rebarreled or buy/trade for a new rifle with a heavy barrel.

My Howa came with a 24 inch BBL.

Yeah! New rifle! That's exactly what I'd do. The more rifes the better. Keep you lighter barrel for longer hunts. You'll probably appreciate the lighter weight.
