my 25-06 is the camo version and i'm been giving some thought to putting the nikon camo coyote scope on mine to kind of match the camo theme. but the scope on it works great and so its not a big priorty right now.

Hell yes someone agrees that remington did wrong on the 770 wth is a 710! Haha the savage 110, 111 is way better and i plan on using more nextll be a 30-06

i agree patrick, the savage 110, 111 and even the Axis are much better than the 770 and the 710. i prefer the marlin X7's over the savage myself, but just because the marlin fits me better.

So you're liking the x7? I seen that they're descent priced. I might get 1 of those and save a few hundred bux over the model 700... Good idea? I've always liked Marlin.

ryno, i do like the marlin X7 rifles, i have three of them, 25-06, 7mm-08 and the 308 with a 26" heavy barrel. they shoot great and the stock accepts a lot of recoil, so they are very pleasant to shoot. IMO, they are very equal to the remington M700, which i own several of too, but were bought used and got good deals on. the X7's were bought new. would i buy another M700? yes if i get a good deal on it, but price wise, new the marlins are a better deal. i also plan on buy some more X7's for my collection too. ask MulieMaster about them too as he has several of them too.
